I built a real detection engineering environment to learn how attackers actually move.

Stood up Splunk, ingested the BOTSv3 capture-the-flag dataset, and wrote searches for authentication anomalies, lateral movement, suspicious network behavior, and known IOCs. Every notable finding gets mapped to a MITRE ATT&CKtactic so I'm not just collecting alerts — I'm thinking in adversary terms.
